Did you know that fennel gave its name to a place of legend?
The ancient Greeks knew it as “marathon”, from which the name of the town is derived. Fennel grew spontaneously on the plain where the legendary battle was fought. 
And it was the Greeks themselves who brought fennel to Italy, where it made its home in the fertile plain of Metaponto.

TASTE IT RAW

A drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt is all you need to enhance the flavour of Dolce Lucano. Its crunchiness is ideal for dipping and gives an extra kick to your salads. But it’s also perfect on its own to nibble as a snack or as a base for creative recipes.

Dolce Lucano is lovingly grown by Primo Sole growers to serve on your table from October to May.

Dolce Lucano is grown exclusively on the plain of Metaponto, where the terrain and light create the unrivalled soil and climatic conditions that make our fennel so sweet and crunchy.

100% ECO-FRIENDLY

Dolce Lucano is sold in an eco-friendly carton, which can be recycled with waste paper, and a transparent wrapper in PLA, which can be recycled with organic waste together with the label.
